Another Reason to Get Good Sleep


Kim forwarded me this article the other day:

Wow! That’s pretty big. As someone who had a grandparent with Alzheimer’s, the disease has been on my radar for awhile.

I’ve read Still Alice, looked into various research, and even considered DNA testing.

Genetics notwithstanding, it seems like there are some basic things one can do to try to keep Alzheimer’s at bay:

– Sleep well
– Exercise regularly
– Eat nutritiously
– Stretch your brain

I want to do these things regardless, but it’s good to know that they may contain a bit of Alzheimer’s armor as well.
