There’s a TON of information out there about diet and exercise – much of it conflicting.

As I’ve done the research, this is what I’ve come up with. I’m sure there are plenty of things I’m forgetting/missing/wrong about, but it’s what I’m shooting for right now.

There’s a lot that could be said for each point, but for now I’m just listing the main idea.

I don’t practice all of these perfectly, and sometimes I deviate from them on purpose. They’re in no particular order, and they’re all subject to change/upgrades down the road.

Exercise regularly

Fast intermittently

Small portions / caloric restriction

Eat whole/local/organic foods

Avoid sitting too much

Drink organic coffee and green tea

Eat fresh pressed garlic regularly

Drink plenty of water

Avoid gluten

Eat low/no meat

Get plenty of sleep

Take power naps

Consume probiotics

Take a quality multivitamin supplement

Avoid processed sugar and don’t consume much sugar in general

Eat lots of vegetables, beans, nuts, eggs, and seeds, and healthy fats

Avoid processed foods

Minimize soy

Avoid dairy products

Chew / eat slowly

Don’t eat right before bed

Consume dark chocolate and red wine in moderation
