Check out this list of “best-selling products that are now obsolete.

It’s easy to think of “obsolete” in a negative sense, but many of the advances we enjoy today are due to the technologies, practices, and efforts of old.

The same is true in our own lives. We might look back on our old work and think “how obsolete”, but chances are it helped us get to where we are today. Obsolete can be a positive when it’s part of the growth process.

In fact, if we’re growing and developing the way we should be, our best work now should always be “obsolete” later.
