Take the High Road

Every day you will choose the low road or the high road.

The low road is the path of least resistance. Most people walk there. It’s easy now but full of regrets later.

The high road is hard. It offers fewer companions and more resistance. But it is there that you forge the deepest friendships, see the best views, and receive the greatest rewards.

The low road doesn’t ask much of us. The high road asks for all we’ve got – and then some. Which is why we need God to walk it.

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

Where is God inviting you to take the high road?
