Don’t let the stress of life rob you of its beauty.

Most busy people don’t have time for beauty. It’s one of the first things to go when you’re over-committed, under-resourced, and stressed out.

That’s why I try to make time to stop and shoot the roses. Taking pictures of the beautiful people, places, and things around me helps me appreciate them more and remember that life is about more than just getting things done.

Granted, the process of editing and posting them can feel like a chore sometimes. And it’s always ironic when I feel compelled to capture the moment instead of just enjoying it. But I’m moving past that.

What are you doing to recognize and appreciate the beauty in your life? When are you deliberately slowing down? Where has your life become more robotic than real?
